General Fitness Advice Sought?
Ok, here's my story. I'm 30, about 6 ft 3 in, and weigh about 260. I'm overweight by about 30 or 40 lbs. I'd like to set a goal of loosing 20 lbs in the next 3 months. I've started changing my diet by eating a more balanced meal, cutting out junk food, soda, etc. My main saboteurs is that I am an alcoholic, and I drink nightly. I'm setting goals to tone down the drinking, and so far so good. I know it probably depends on my daily calorie intake (which is around 2,000ish I think), my general question is, what is a good healthy number of calories I could try and burn daily to reach my goal? I'd like to focus on cardio for the most part, and then if I start to see some success, slowly switch over to muscle development or something. Any advice from those that know what their doing is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
